Another Idea of Staggering Genius

How about strings of solar-powered holiday lights? The little 6-foot pine out at the edge of our acreage would look so pretty with lights on it in winter, but I can't see dragging extension cords through the fields. The lights wouldn't have to be bright-bright-bright. 'Glowing' would satisfy me.

Has anyone beat me to this idea and manufactured the product I want?

I've heard of solar powered Christmas lights. Apparently Winter sun is a bit of a problem.
But technology marches one; a place is working on moon-powered holiday lights!
My wife is a Christmas light
psycho, real Jean Shepard 'Christmas Story' material, she. 5000 of them-her
and her staple gun and I in my nightcap. This year we got vinyl
siding, so the house is safe, but
such was the uproar from Mrs.
Christmas that I promised to go
up a ladder to 'create' lighted
pine trees from our birch and dogwood by stringing from a fulcrum down to tent stakes.
Lordy, now I NEED a nightcap!!

Sorry to touch on a sore subject, BB, but I'll bet the effect is beautiful.

Sure enough, they do exist, e.g.,

You found some?
Now we expect a nice snow picture
of the lighted little pine out on the edge of the acreage!
